Meet our friend Ari and Deena Weiss.

Born and raised in the United States, Ari and Deena made Aliyah with their five children in 2013, settling in Karnei Shomron, a community located in the foothills of the lush Samarian landscape. A favorite family snack, Ari and Deena noticed kettle corn was not sold in any market, and many sabras (native-born Israelis) never heard of this savory upgrade to a traditionally buttery indulgence. Starting in their own kitchen, Ari and Deena experimented with classic recipes while creating their own magical mixes. Encouraged by their community after sharing their authentic sweet, salty, chocolaty, and zing-flavored batches of cast-iron kettle corn at their synagogue, Ari and Deena set out to bring the joy of this classic American treat to Land of Israel! And now you can enjoy, or try for the very first time, our Karnei Shomron Kettle Corn with a subscription to The Yishuv Kitchen!
